Future Projects
The Angels Trace Emergency Shelter will provide homeless
women and their families a safe, supportive, and dignified place to stay.
Women and their children (under the age of 14) who are income eligible and
homeless can stay up to 60 days. Case Management will be offered to families
with a focus on gaining employment, increasing money management skills, and
accessing mainstream community resources.
The Angels Trace Family Village will provide transitional housing to women
and their children in crisis who are committed to making positive and
lasting changes to rebuild their lives. Families must be referred by a case
manager. The Family Residence will house up to 20 families at a time.
Homeless women and their children will live in furnished apartments. Each
family will be able to stay up to 18 months, as long as the family is
actively participating in the program and working towards self-sufficiency.
Preference will be given to U.S. citizens who have been residents of Orange,
Seminole, or Osceola Counties. Upon completion of the program, each family
will be expected to live independently in permanent housing.
The Angels Trace Children’s Center will provide 24-hour day care for the
families in our facilities with children ages 0-12. School age children will
attend local elementary schools. After school tutoring will be offered to
children who are learning delayed.
Angels Trace needs your financial support and volunteer efforts to help
us provide temporary support to women and their children in crisis.
